You can provide value (another over-used term) but your value needs to be relevant. We live in an age where twitter, facebook and social media updates the news faster than it happens. As a market leader you need to be that source of information that people go to for the latest news in their market. Once you are seen as a leader in your market, then it is safe to assume that those people will be followers for life and lifelong customers. You can sell to them over and over again once you have gained this respect. They will become your “tribe” or your followers. People can buy from anyone they choose. It is human nature to buy from people who provide them the most value or who can do the most for them in the way of solving their issues.
- Continue to be relevant and never stop communicating with your list. Building relationships takes time and develops slowly at first but once it starts, it becomes a chain reaction and your funnel will start to fill more and more as you move forward.
