“business Marketing Opportunity”
Do you know anything about the Primerica “opportunity”?
It seems every job offer out there is some kind of multi level marketing scheme or pushing you to make an upfront investment. I talked to this recruiter who says it’s a base plus commission job in making phone calls to sell these insurance products. But, when I went on the website, it’s an own your own business opportunity that doesn’t require a “huge upfront investment” to get started. I’m supposed to go to this interview but I’m really leery about this now – because the guy is so pushy. I’m so NOT into getting scammed when it comes to my career but it has happened more than once where I get somebody calling me about my resume and it turns into a scam. Do you know about this? Is it legit?
Primerica is a legit business, but it is definitely a multi-level gig where you are pushed to sign up others to sell insurance and financial services, and you have to be able to sell the products to a lot of people in order to make any money. A lot of their money is made just getting people to pay for the setup. Unless you are very well connected and know a ton of people, and are a great sales person who believes you can sell sand to camel herders, you are better off just moving along past Primerica.
