Is there a right for the socially responsable to challenge the agenda of Christian “Quiverfull Mothers”?
“Quiverfull mothers” try to have UPWARDS of six children. They home-school their families, attend fundamentalist churches and follow biblical guidelines
of male headship and female submissiveness. THEY REFUSE ANY ATTEMPT TO REGULATE PREGNANCY.”[Ref. at: www.thenation.com/doc/20061127/joyce]
Contrast their viewpoint with the view that: ” The global population is higher than the earth can sustain, says the Director of the British Antarctic Survey. Solving environmental problems such as climate change is going to be impossible without tackling the issue”.( Ref: Professor Chris Rapley.Director of the British Antarctic Survey, based in Cambridge, UK)
Do these wannabe broodmares represent a danger to me and the the rest of society if their agenda becomes the latest religious in thing for Christians?
Who would have predicted the “Mega Church” THOUSANDS of members?
I’ve been asked in “Answers” as to “whether such “Quiverfull” breeding is
any of my business” Your opinion?
No. The socially responsible would be wise to spend their time helping their own families and friends. And when they are done at home, there are plenty of people asking for help in all areas of the community. People have a right to live their own lives as they see fit.
