Can I throw a party at a private home, and have food and beer all free. (only for persons old enough to drink of course)… and have live music and fun… and charge them to come?

Good point: charging $15 is not Free. There’s no law prohibiting you from charging people. But, posting flyers only invites strangers to this “private home”. You may not be able to control the amount of people coming in. Now if you want to invite friends, maybe you can ask them to bring beers and you can provide the munchies.
