“marketing Home Based Business”
I received a phone solicitation to join a home based business. I signed up for an entry level by credit card.
The next day I recevied a phone call from the credit card company asking me if I had authorized charges to my credit card. I stated that I had. I was charged over $8,000, a sucker punch to my finances. The credit card company turned it over to their fraud department. Based on the fact that I authorized a charge to this outfit, they ruled that I was responsible. I received a welcome package and returned it by certified mail. The company has 3 businesses, – “Coastal Marketing, Coastal Vacations, and Coastal Millionaires.” Their websites are phonies. I have the email from the person who called me. I have a phone number and when I try to cal, it states “please be patient, we are experiencing heavy call volume at this time.” I never am able to get through, and have left phone messages requesting a return call.
I have logged a report with the Better Business Bureau. Is there any recource available to me, to go after this company, with the hope of getting my money back?
Try the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) as well as the Attorney General for the State they are in.
