"successful home business"
How can I be more supportive of my husbands business?

My husband has become a part of a business called Market America. He is doing well for just recently starting out. I stay at home and take care of our 3 children. The thing is, is that he has meeting every Tuesday and Thursday nights and at least 2 Saturdays a month. When he is home from his day job he is on the phone or has people over talking business.

I know he is doing this to better our financial stability but I am at the point that I think I am starting to resent him for it. He does so much with our family but he isn’t really there because of “business” calls ect……

I do not want to fight with him. I want to be supportive but I also want him to realize that we are just important now as we were before and will be when he is successful.

If anyone has been in this situation please tell me how I can talk to him to let him know I am behind him 100% but he needs to be behind his family just as much?

Thank you.

If you have a husband that is a Dreamer and is out there chasing his dream everyday, you better thank God that you are married to him. Many women who have husbands that just come back from work and turn on the TV with a can of beer, would gladly trade places with you. Your husband did it not for himself, he did it for you and your kids. Taking a man’s dream away is like taking away his purpose to live. Deep in his heart, every man longs for a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue. Just like every woman wants to be romanced, to play a role in her own adventures and to display beauty.

Your family’s future is in good hands because you have a real Man at home (not just a male). The number one reason why so many families fall apart is the lack of a dreamer and a leader at home. Your kids are constantly looking for role models in life when they are growing up. And the first people they look up to are their parents. If your husband is doing what he’s doin right now, and if you do not speak negative of him infront of your children but positive encouraging words, they will grow up looking at their dad as their hero rather than someone else. And they will have a great chance in succeeding very early in life.

If you feel that he’s away too much, sit down and talk to him calmly, tell him how you feel (He cannot read your mind). Work out a schedule that will work for both of you. Maybe take a specific day off every week and spent sometime together. Show him that you support him by telling him, better still, ask him if there’s anything that you could do to help with the business. That way, you could also spent more time working together. That will make a huge difference.

If kids are the distractions, hire a babysitter once in a while. I know your children are important but your husband should come before your children. Your children will grow up one day and have their own families, but you are gonna spent the rest of your life with your husband (I hope that’s the intention when you married him).

Hope that helps and below are some books that you can read to understand your husband and yourself more. It has help my wife and I tremendously.
