Women Business Jackets And Suits
Is corduroy appropriate for a “business casual” office?
I’m the assistant to the top person at our company and usually dress better than business casual each day. I wear black skirts, black pants, collared shirts, etc… I need more options and was wondering if a corduroy pencil skirt I have is a good option for the office. I would obviously wear it with nicer shirts or cardigans, but I’m still unsure about it. It’s khaki colored and knee length. Most of the other women wear semi-business casual attire. I’m the one who dresses up the most, but then I figure I should since I’m the assistant to the top person. He always wears dress pants and a collared shirt, but never a suit or jacket… I don’t know what to do!

Business Casual? Of course! It sounds as if the dress code is not so strict as to enforce “Business Professional Attire” which would normally call for darker more conservative clothing. “Business Casual Attire” is neat, appropriate and classic. The skirt sounds like it is a neutral color with an appropriate length for work.

Business Casual Clothing Dress Code
What does business casual mean for a 17 year old male?
Im 17 and im going to observe a doctor and her secretary told me that the dress code is simply business casual. As I am 17 i have no idea what that means. Tie or no tie? Sports coat? I have dress clothes, its just that i tend to overdress sometimes.
Business casual mean slacks and a collar shirt..either button down or polo shirt. A short sleeve polo shirt with khakis are ideal. The pants should be neatly pressed. No tie or suit or jacket required.
No jeans, sneakers and t-shirt. No flipflops. No open toe sandals (for guys).
